There is an expansive, light-filled studio on the top level and another artist's workshop off the living room. A wellness room, currently used as a yoga studio, has vaulted ceilings and copious natural light, and is accompanied by a Scandinavian sauna. The kitchen and the family room are intimately connected with a fireplace and a cooking wood stove anchoring them both. A finished barn with another wood stove and a sleeping loft is a perfect guest house or a writer's cabin with forever views of the mountains and the Schoharie River in the distance. Amidst meandering pathways, wildflower meadows, and the surrounding woods are two beautiful ponds, one of which is just short of 20 feet deep and perfect for swimming. The house, a love letter to the birds, bees, and butterflies, sits far from the road amidst breathtaking, far-reaching natural landscapes. Near Hanne's House, you will find endless outdoor activities, such as the Hunter and Windham ski resorts, the Windham Path for long walks with epic valley views, and several spots for wild swimming.
